In the building – no booking needed Coming up…. What’s God been doing in your life? The Old Testament heroes set up pillars in the desert at places where the Lord had met them, as a testament to what He had done.
We don’t need to do that any more, but we still need to share our testimonies of His faithfulness! These stories go on to stir faith in others when they are struggling, which is so important – as Sylvia mentioned on Sunday, we are to be brothers and sisters alongside each other, encouraging each other on.
It could be written, drawn, spoken, via CSK voices….but please get in touch with Rachel ([email protected]) ASAP to share yours, however brief or long! Please don’t think your story doesn’t count – sharing our testimonies together, big and small, is something that we’re really missing in this season. Wednesday Bible Study Topic: Bible Study

Passcode: 479321 Worship Oasis – *this* Sunday in the building at 5pm We’re so excited to be back in the building. We can’t sing but we can still worship, as Gez and the band lead us in an hour of praise. At this service, we don’t have an agenda, although Joel will be leading a short Bible reflection at the start. Every time looks a bit different, but we want to give space to allow the Holy Spirit to speak in words and pictures as we worship.
The current pattern of our Sunday 5pm services:
1st: Worship Oasis
2nd: Picnic Praise (Eventbrite link next week)
4th: Communion (from May onwards)
5th: will vary!
Only week 2 is pre-booking only; please just turn up to any of the others.
Our short Midweek Communion is on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month at 10am – so the next one is the 6th May.
Masks still need to be worn by over-11s, unless exempt, and indoor singing is still not permitted. At this time, with social distancing regulations still in place and no clear answer on under-18s provision, we are not yet in a position to return to morning worship. We will let you know as soon as we do when anything changes! Could this be your new view? Tech team needs YOU! As we consider putting some services back on in the CSK building again, we’re looking for willing volunteers to join the tech team covering either / both PA (sound) and media (words, videos and pictures using a Windows PC).
We currently only have 3 people covering both PA and media so desperately need some people to commit to joining the team – so are you that person God is calling to join?
Please prayerfully consider whether you think God is calling you to join the team; no previous knowledge is required (although basic PC skills would help) and you will receive full training on whichever area you feel called to serve in.
If you are interested or want to know more, please email [email protected] CSK Community Pantry From Sharon: Because of the generosity of our amazing church family, our food pantry is full – thank you to those who have donated toiletries recently. The only items we are currently low on are:
– canned meat
These can be dropped off any time Chimes is open.
Just a reminder that we cannot accept toys, books or clothing – please give these to local charity shops. Many thanks.
We provide bags of essentials for 2-3 days for individuals and families of all sizes. Please help us get the message out there to those who are in need. Email: [email protected] Chimes Friday volunteers still needed! As our cutlery and crockery comes out again, we are in desperate need of volunteer washing-up help, particularly on Friday. Even a couple of hours washing-up makes a huge difference to the staff. Email Julia on [email protected] if you can help.
For takeaway/outside seating: our hours are 9.30-3.30 Wed-Sat. We are not able to return to our full lunch menu quite yet, but we will be serving our ever-increasing range of home-made cakes, scones, drinks, milkshakes, hot cabinet items, soup and, when the weather improves….ice cream!
Please note that table groupings must be for either a maximum of 6 people or 2 households. New Wine online only this summer New Wine have now unfortunately had to cancel all in-person summer events, but they will have an online event, just like last year, which we recommend to everyone.
